Miscellaneous 4
A barbeque sometime around 1970. Not sure where it is; perhaps Albany. In the picture around the bbq are Oom Jan, Henk, Ron, Ed and Rob. In the background is John.
Ron in 1965, with the famous peg. Part of a promotion for the opening of Malvern Star in Albany; people had to guess the height and weight of the peg. Ron should have been holding a normal sized peg.

Backyard pool 1970
Dad must have climbed up on the roof for these pictures. It seems the pool was pretty new at the time. Not sure how we managed to dive into such a shallow pool. You can also see the sandpit, swing, wheelbarrow, and cubby that Dad built. To the right of the cubby is the vegie garden. Only strawberries I think, which I got from Mrs Gilpin. I had to big out ots of gravel rocks in order to have some soil for them to grow in. The pile of rocks is up against the back fence.
John Spanderman family, and also Joh. Dekker family I think, lived in the house to the right behind us.

Albany Church
Miscellaneous 3
Ron, Rick, Ed and Martin with a kangaroo.
Traveling August 1977. Must have been on the way back from Albany - I see a few new "Albany 150 Years" t-shirts. Chris and Rick on the roof rack, Ed and Janet standing on the trailer, and Martin sitting at their feet.
It must have been the trip that we hit the kangaroo. I remember that at the time there was a dent on the back bumper. The window that was broken appears to have been fixed.
Either Ron or I took the picture.

Wanneroo Lion Park
Sinterklaas circa 1972
Ron and I dressed up as Zwarte Piet and Sinterklaas. Martin looks unimpressed.
Inspecting the presents.
Soccer carival
Some (pretty poor) pics from a soccer carnival, when the kids were asked to dress up themselves and/or their bikes.
