Canal in Groningen. The roads are called Lage der A (left) and Hoge der A (right), 1978.
Dad may have worked in a shop here selling white goods. The camping shop, Waterborg, is still there, selling camping supplies, sailing goods, and windsurfing gear.

And what is the name of the canal? Any reason you can think of why Dad took this picture? The camping shop? Is it still there?

It is one of the most beautiful canal shots you can get in Groningen. I think that Dad worked in a shop here selling white goods.
The camping shop, Waterborg, is still there, selling camping supplies, sailing goods, windsurfing gear.
I don't know the name of the canal.

The pic was pretty poor, and I had to adjust the sky separately from the rest. Next time I am there I should try a pic myself.
